A Great evening with Joy encased..Those who read may they be blessed ..

It has been practically another year that I haven’t blogged, but honestly, I have been working hard and partying harder. So basically I was busy living my life. Today was yet another awesome evening. Having good people around you really makes a difference. There is this awesome couple I am friends with. They are fun people to be around. I wonder if they would like to be their names disclosed here so let’s call them just “The Couple” I have known then since their dating days and now they are proverbial modern man and wife. I have been socializing with them quite often. They take me out at least once a month and we always have some weird wacky and stimulating conversations. My friends wife thinks me and her hubby are old school people, we kind of enjoy that too.
So today was yet another awesome evening. The weather here is pretty romantic.  Cool breeze and very light drizzle, a roadside hot steaming tasty omelette and boiled eggs, dash of fantastic wine. Later  a chilled iced lemon tea in CCD. Witty conversations, intense discussions and laughter over our ideas and idoitness , and yes a little leg pulling, this is what sums up today evening.
I come home at night with a happy high and refreshed for tomorrow’s challenges, an MBA assignment about business legislation and lots of rummaging and packing for flying to meet another awesome friend in a city of dreams and opportunity. Another charged up workshop on energy healing.
It is my life, at full throttle, with highs and lows yet so chilled. At mid night I tweet, expressing my gratitude to the universal power, thanking, expressing my gratitude ..
My life is an awesome party, and god thank you for making it one ..thank you for this great evening, and many more to come..I live my life with zeal and zest ..and thank you god for keeping it blessed …AMEN..

The Bygone year

Today I am inspired to write again. It has been practically more than a year that I wrote anything in my blog and I wonder as to how I have still managed to garner around 100 views in the last 1-2 months. Although I am writing more than 1500 words on a daily basis I was too exhausted to write in my blog. I was never even inspired.
Today I saw this movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, and remembered that I had planned 2 such trips with Sid and Rocky. We had planned about a road trip to Leh and Laddakh and a holiday in Thailand. We too had some things like white water rafting and trekking planned for ourselves. I do not know when that would be. Firstly let’s recap what happened in last year. From July 2010 to July 2011
The year that has gone by has been very eventful. I have grown lot as a person. I did things that wanted to do, and also got to do things I never thought was possible ever. I travelled as much as I never travelled before. I basically started earning and spending as well. I got involved with 2 special persons. I got a girlfriend a relationship and a break up too. I got asked by nearly 5 girls in 10 months. (Still feeling wow about it).
Work wise, I got a job; I got promoted twice, left it and got another one too. I lost a friend and well wisher to sudden death and formed new association at the work place. I wrote several more articles reviews and web content and got them published in hundreds of more websites. I taught an SEO Class, and I booked 2domain names and started work on 2 of my websites. I met 2 celebrities and had lunch with one. It was wonderful to have lunch with a fabulous looking, beautiful actress, someone who adorned 100 pictures in my computer. I conducted 2 successful healing related workshops in Mumbai and several more in Nagpur. I garnered praise and criticism too. I am somehow peaceful with the paradoxes in my life.
First time in life I had complete boys time out, first time I had wine. I travelled for work I travelled for leisure. I flew in plane, sailed on boat, travelled by train, bus, car, auto, and hand held rickshaw. I broke friendships and I made some new ones too. I watched as many movies in theaters as I had never watched before. I also read 3- novels.
I went on to become more materialistic than I ever was and yet never felt more spiritual from inside. I also ended up seeing some more of my past lives discovered some patterns and worked on healing them too. I healed several of my issues and progressed. For the coming years now I feel like living more vibrantly. I captured many moments in my camera and now somehow feel drawn towards photography too.
As I look back I am happy to see that I lived a “Full Throttle” life in the last one year. For the bygone year I can say yes!! I started living. I am full of dreams and aspiration for the coming time. More on that in the next post.

Story -You Never Know

You Just Never Know
Author Unknown

Bill worked in a factory on a production line, he was a big, awkward, homely guy. He dressed oddly with ill-fitting clothes. There were several fellow workers who thought it smart to make fun of him.

One day one fellow worker noticed a small tear in his shirt and gave it a small rip.

Another worker in the factory added his bit, and before long there was quite a ribbon of cloth dangling.

Bill went on about his work and as he passed too near a moving belt the shirt strip was sucked into the machinery.

In a split second the sleeve and Bill was in trouble. Alarms were sounded, switches pulled, and trouble was avoided.

The foreman then summoned all the workers and related this story:

In my younger days I worked in a small factory. That's when I first met Mike. He was big and witty, was always making jokes, and playing little pranks. Mike was a leader. Then there was Peter who was a follower. He always went along with Mike. And then there was a man named Murray. He was a little older than the rest of us - quiet, harmless, apart. He always ate his lunch by himself.

He wore the same patched trousers for three years straight. He never entered into the games we played at noon, wrestling, horseshoes and such. He appeared to be indifferent, always sitting quietly alone under a tree instead. Murray was a natural target for practical jokes.

He might find a live frog in his lunch box, or a dead spider in his hat. But he always took it in good humour. Then one autumn, when things were quiet in the factory, Mike took off a few days to go hunting. Peter went along, of course. And they promised all of us that if they got anything they'd bring us each a piece.

So we were all quite excited when we heard that they'd returned and that Mike had got a really big buck. We heard more than that. Peter could never keep anything to himself, and it leaked out that they had real whopper to play on Murray. Mike had cut up the buck and had made a nice package for each of us. And, for the laugh, for the joke of it, he had saved the ears, the tail, the hoofs - it would be so funny when Murray unwrapped them.

Mike distributed his packages during the lunch break. We each got a nice piece, opened it, and thanked him. The biggest package of all he saved until last. It was for Murray. Peter was all but bursting; and Mike looked very smug. Like always, Murray sat by himself; he was on the far side of the big table. Mike pushed the package over to where he could reach it; and we all sat and waited.

Murray was never one to say much. You might never know that he was around for all the talking he did. In three years he'd never said more than hundred words. So we were all quite astounded with what happened next. He took the package firmly in his grip and rose slowly to his feet. He smiled broadly at Mike - and it was then we noticed that his eyes were glistening. His Adam's apple bobbed up and down for a moment and then he got control of himself.

'I knew you wouldn't forget me,' he said gratefully, 'I knew you'd come through! You're big and you're playful, but I knew all along that you had a good heart.'

He swallowed again, and then took in the rest of us. 'I know I haven't seemed too chummy with you men; but I never meant to be rude. You see, I've got nine kids at home - and a wife that's been an invalid - bedridden now for four years. She ain't ever going to get any better. And sometimes when she's real bad off, I have to sit up all night to take care of her. And most of my wages have had to go for doctors and medicine.

The kids do all they can to help out, but at times it's been hard to keep food in their mouths. Maybe you think it's funny that I go off by myself to eat my lunch. Well, I guess I've been a little ashamed, because I don't always have anything between my sandwich. Or like today - maybe there's only a raw turnip in my lunch box. But I want you to know that this meat really means a lot to me. Maybe more than to anybody here because tonight my kids' ... as he wiped the tears from his eyes with the back of his hand ... 'tonight my kids will have a really good meal.'

He tugged at the string. We'd been watching Murray so intently we hadn't paid much notice to Mike and Peter. But we all noticed them now, because they both tried to grab the package. But they were too late. Murray had broken the wrapper and was already surveying his present. He examined each hoof, each ear, and then he held up the tail. It wiggled limply. It should have been so funny, but nobody laughed - nobody at all.

But the hardest part was when Murray looked up and said 'Thank you' while trying to smile. Silently one by one each man moved forward carrying his package and quietly placed it in front of Murray for they had suddenly realized how little their own gift had really meant to them, until now.

This was where the foreman left the story and the men. He didn't need to say any more; but it was gratifying to notice that as each man ate his lunch that day, they shared part with Bill and one fellow even took off his shirt and gave it to him.

Proverbs by kids

Now kids by far i know can be most uncompromising undiplomatic and straight thinkers and best observers. They reflect back the reality as it is even if its not the truth. Here is a fine example of it.

Proverbs by kids
A Third grade teacher collected well known proverbs. He gave each kid in the class the first half of the proverb, and asked them to come up with the rest. Here is what the kids came up with:
Love all, trust ... me.
No news is ... impossible.
Strike while the ... bug is close.
A miss is as good as a ... Mrs.
A penny saved is ... not much.
Don`t bite the hand that ... looks dirty.
You can`t teach an old dog ... math.
None are so blind as ... Helen Keller.
The pen is mightier than ... the pigs.
An idle mind is ... the best way to relax.
Where there is smoke, there`s ... pollution.
Better to be safe than .... punch a 5th grader
Happy is the bride who ... gets all the presents.
Never underestimate the power of ... termites.
When the blind lead the blind ... get out of the way.
If at first you don`t succeed ... get new batteries.
If you lie down with dogs, you ... will stink in the morning.
Children should be seen and not ... spanked or grounded.
You get out of something what you ... see pictured on the box.
Laugh and the whole world laughs with you. Cry and ... you have to blow your nose.

Did You Know

Hey folks another beautiul read. I got this from the santabanta forums.

Did u know That?
Did you know that when you envy someone, it's because you really like that
person?

Did you know that those who appear to be very strong in heart are real weak
and most susceptible?

Did you know that those who spend their time protecting others are the ones
that really need some one to protect them?

Did you know that the three most difficult things to say are:

"I love you, Sorry and help me"

Did you know that those who dress in red are more confident in themselves?

Did you know that those who dress in yellow are those that enjoy their
beauty?

Did you know that those who dress in black are those who want to be
unnoticed and need your help and understanding?

Did you know that when you help someone, the help is returned in two folds?

Did you know that it's easier to say what you feel in writing than saying
it to someone in the face? But did you know that it has more value when you
say it to their face?

Did you know that what is most difficult for you to say or do is much more
valuable than anything that is valuable that you can buy with money?

Did you know that you can make your dreams come true, like falling in love,
becoming rich, staying healthy, if you ask for it by faith, and if you
really knew, you'd be surprised by what you could do.

The Ascension

Things have changed a lot in the past 9 years. I somehow feel that time has been running lot faster since 2000 and lot of people have experienced many symptoms of ascension. This website Emerging Earth Angels has listed some of the ascension symptoms. I originally found it through a friends blog amd mow iam copy pasting all the symptoms and my experience about it from this wonderful website. I feel that my readers may have also surely experienced quite a few or a lot many of them.

The List is as Follows

• Have you felt in recent years and months that you were stretching far beyond what you had the capacity to endure? Yes

• Have you had many emotional ups and downs, strange physical aches and pains, many losses in the form of friends, jobs, family, finances, and much of anything else? YES LOTS
• Have you experienced dizziness and vertigo, neck and back pain, intolerance for lower vibrating energy, and abdominal weight gain and bloating? Again YES
• Do you wonder who you are looking at in the mirror? Had a loss of identity? Not really

• Have you been “removed” from your usual means of employment and cannot seem to find another job, even though you never had this problem in the past? YES TERRIBLY YES
• Have you recently moved to a new geographical location? Having a very strong desire now
• Do you experience short periods when you are very cold and cannot seem to get warm? Not really
• Have you had hot flashes and night sweats not relating to menopause (even if you are a male?) Nops
• Do you feel you have been pushed out of your groove by lower vibrating people? I felt like that in my office and certain clubs I was a member of
• When you go out in public or to an event, do you feel as though you are “acting?” Sometimes yes

• Have you had a serious medical situation in recent years that left you feeling helpless and powerless? YES BAD MEDICAL SITUATION..Not just me but some other people too

• Have you had periods of time when you continually saw repeating numbers, whether on digital clocks, license plates, or other arenas? Not really seeing ;but yes there is a pattern. I have gotten double digit numbers on my license plate my swimming pool membership card my 3 ATM cards. And when iam asked to think of a number this 44 or 144 always pops up in my head.
• Do you continually mis-spell words or superimpose sentences and spelling when you attempt to write something, even though you may have been a master at grammar and spelling for most of your life? OMG YES ..SO MUCH YES. Its been a perennial problem
• Have you had times in your life where you felt “no sense of place?” not much but I kind of can relate to it
• Do you continually have short-term memory loss and at times cannot remember things that occurred only yesterday or even a moment before? YES LOTS

• Do you wonder why things seem to be getting worse instead of better? OOH YES ALL THE TIME
• Has it become difficult to be in crowds, large stores, and the like? Have you seen lights, heard voices, had ringing or buzzing in the ears, or felt unusual energy pulsing through your body? Do you have bouts of allergy symptoms or sinus problems and headaches? Have you ever felt energy pouring through the top of your head?
Yes I feel as if something is kept on my head from time to time for the past 2 years. Energy, yes! That is also quite frequent. Recently, I experienced buzzing and hearing strange sounds during a certain initiation. Allergy was these until 3-4 years ago.

• Do you wonder where in the world you have landed, feel that you do not belong here, and want to go “home”? That used to happen almost all the time daily from 2000 to 2006

If you have experienced a fair amount of the above, you are most likely having or have had in the past, the most common of the ascension symptoms and experiences. There are far too many to list here, and far too many of us have had these strange and common occurrences to warrant them as an accident or perhaps some kind of bizarre virus. These symptoms and experiences are a direct result of our spiritual expansion process, as we begin to vibrate higher and begin to embody more light than ever before. (A brief note: It is always best to seek medical attention when necessary, as certainly not all of our strange symptoms can be attributed to the ascension process.)

• Are you ready to retire? I want to but can’t retire
• Do you notice much more of what is around you, instead of what is going on within you? No nothing like that
• Do you easily and clearly see others and what they are here to contribute? Do you acknowledge them and connect to them easily when appropriate? Many times yes other times it takes me time to recognize

• Have you come to realize than nothing needs to be “fixed” and never did? Have you dis-continued offering your services when you were not even asked (and this includes being asked by nature and the planet herself as well)? • Do you know what is yours to do, and realize that much everything else is someone else's passion or purpose, there-by staying in your own role and not taking over someone else's? Not reached there as yet
• Have you found that you spend more of your time and focus simply on one of your passions or talents, and not on a variety of interests as you may have done in the past? Yes I have

A salute to Ratan Tata

1. All category of employees including those who had completed even 1 day as casuals were treated on duty during the time the hotel was closed.

2. Relief and assistance to all those who were injured and killed

3. The relief and assistance was extended to all those who died at the railway station, surroundings including the Pav- Bhaji vendor and the pan shop owners.

4. During the time the hotel was closed, the salaries were sent by money order.

5. A psychiatric cell was established in collaboration with Tata Institute of Social Sciences to counsel those who needed such help.

6. The thoughts and anxieties going on people’s mind was constantly tracked and where needed psychological help provided.

7. Employee outreach centers were opened where all help, food, water, sanitation, first aid and counseling was provided. 1600 employees were covered by this facility.

8. Every employee was assigned to one mentor and it was that person’s responsibility to act as a β€single window clearance for any help that the person required.

9. Ratan Tata personally visited the families of all the 80 employees who in some manner be either through injury or getting killed were affected.

10. The dependents of the employees were flown from outside Mumbai to Mumbai and taken care off in terms of ensuring mental assurance and peace. They were all accommodated in Hotel President for 3 weeks.

11. Ratan Tata himself asked the families and dependents – as to what they wanted him to do.

12. In a record time of 20 days, a new trust was created by the Tatas for the purpose of relief of employees.

13. Whatg is unique is that even the other people, the railway employees, the police staff, the pedestrians who had nothing to do with Tatas were covered by compensation. Each one of them was provided subsistence allowance of Rs. 10K per month for all these people for 6 months.

14. A 4 year old granddaughter of a vendor got 4 bullets in her and only one was removed in the Government hospital. She was taken to Bombay hospital and several lacs were spent by the Tatas on her to fully recover her.

15. New hand carts were provided to several vendors who lost their carts.

16. Tata will take responsibility of life education of 46 children of the victims of the terror.

a. Full last salary for life for the family and dependents;

b. Complete responsibility of education of children and dependents – anywhere in the world.

c. Full Medical facility for the whole family and dependents for rest of their life.

d. All loans and advances were waived off – irrespective of the amount.

e. Counselor for life for each person

B. Epilogue

1. How was such passion created among the employees? How and why did they behave the way they did?

2. The organisation is clear that it is not something that someone can take credit for. It is not some training and development that created such behaviour. If someone suggests that – everyone laughs

3. It has to do with the DNA of the organisation, with the way Tata culture exists and above all with the situation that prevailed that time. The organization has always been telling that customers and guests are #1 priority

4. The hotel business was started by Jamshedji Tata when he was insulted in one of the British hotels and not allowed to stay there.

5. He created several institutions which later became icons of progress, culture and modernity. IISc is one such institute. He was told by the rulers that time that he can acquire land for IISc to the extent he could fence the same. He could afford fencing only 400 acres.

6. When the HR function hesitatingly made a very rich proposal to Ratan – he said – do you think we are doing enough?

7. The whole approach was that the organisation would spend several hundred crore in re-building the property – why not spend equally on the employees who gave their life?

A $20 story Remainder

After a long time I got a E mail which I found worth sharing with the world. Here it goes ..

A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for

her at the door.

SON: 'Mummy, may I ask you a question?'

MUM: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the woman.

SON: 'Mummy, how much do you make an hour?'

MUM: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the woman said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

MUM: 'If you must know, I make $20 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: "Mummy, may I please borrow $5?"

The mother was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door..

The woman sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed down, and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $5 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The woman went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' She asked.

'No Mummy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the woman. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $5 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you Mummy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the mother grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Mummy, I have $20 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The mother was crushed. She put her arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through

our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $20 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

Please don't break this even if you only send it to one person.

BURNT BISCUIT STORY

When I was a kid, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.
*On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that
biscuit and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I love burned biscuits."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides - a little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"

Life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else. But what I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each others faults - and choosing to celebrate each others differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God. Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a relationship where a burnt biscuit isn't a deal-breaker!

We could extend this to any relationship. In fact, understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or brother-sister or friendship!

"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - keep it in your own."

So Please pass me a biscuit, and yes, the burnt one will do just
fine.!.!.!.! And PLEASE pass this along to someone who has enriched your life... I just did!*

Smiles!!!

Beautiful story -

MAY and June months have been the months of most ups n downs for me in 2009 so far. My ulcerative colitis recently got worse but now iam healing for the better i believe. Still the oain is much and it seems that the pain has made me a more emotional person than what iam. My tears thershold seems to have reduced.Or may be these stories are just that beautiful. I was reading them ona buddist site and shared the link with my friends some of them were like no ..we dont want to read buddism. So iam just sharing the stories that i liked the most on that page.

A MIRACLE OF $1.10 (claimed to be a true story)
Tess was a precocious eight year old when she heard her Mom and Dad talking about her little brother, Andrew. All she knew was that he was very sick and they were completely out of money. They were moving to an apartment complex next month because Daddy didn't have the money for the doctor bills and our house. Only a very costly surgery could save him now and it was looking like there was no-one to loan them the money. She heard Daddy say to her tearful Mother with whispered desperation, "Only a miracle can save him now."
Tess went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet. She poured all the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even. The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes. Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap, she slipped out the back door and made her way 6 blocks to Rexall's Drug Store with the big red Indian Chief sign above the door. She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her some attention but he was too busy at this moment. Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing. She cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound she could muster. No good.
Finally she took a quarter from her jar and banged it on the glass counter. That did it!
"And what do you want?" the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice. "I'm talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven't seen in ages," he said without waiting for a reply to his question.
"Well, I want to talk to you about my brother," Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. "He's really, really sick... and I want to buy a miracle."
"I beg your pardon?" said the pharmacist.
"His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now. So how much does a miracle cost?"
"We don't sell miracles here, little girl. I'm sorry but I can't help you," the pharmacist said, softening a little. "Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn't enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs."
The pharmacist's brother was a well dressed man. He stooped down and asked the little girl, "What kind of a miracle does you brother need?"
"I don't know," Tess replied with her eyes welling up. "I just know he's really sick and Mommy says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can't pay for it, so I want to use my money."
"How much do you have?" asked the man from Chicago. "One dollar and eleven cents," Tess answered barely audibly. "And it's all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to.
"Well, what a coincidence," smiled the man. "A dollar and eleven cents - the exact price of a miracle for little brothers." He took her money in one hand and with the other hand he grasped her mitten and said, "Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let's see if I have the kind of miracle you need."

That well dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon, specialising in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed without charge and it wasn't long until Andrew was home again and doing well. Mom and Dad were happily talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place.
"That surgery," her Mom whispered. "was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?"
Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost... one dollar and eleven cents ...... plus the faith of a little child.

A miracle is not the suspension of natural law, but the operation of a higher law......

SMILE !
She smiled at a sorrowful stranger.
The smile seemed to make him feel better.
He remembered past kindnesses of a friend
And wrote him a thank you letter.
The friend was so pleased with the thank you
That he left a large tip after lunch.
The waitress, surprised by the size of the tip,
Bet the whole thing on a hunch.
The next day she picked up her winnings,
And gave part to a man on the street.
The man on the street was grateful;
For two days he'd had nothing to eat.
After he finished his dinner,
He left for his small dingy room.
He didn't know at that moment that he might be facing his doom.
On the way he picked up a shivering puppy.
And took him home to get warm.
The puppy was very grateful
To be in out of the storm.
That night the house caught on fire.
The puppy barked the alarm.
He barked till he woke the whole household
And saved everybody from harm.
One of the boys that he rescued
Grew up to be President.
All this because of a simple smile
That hadn't cost a cent

Determination

One of my friend at some point of time had said that we are angels with one broken wing. To fly we need someone to hug us and we can fly together .The dacne in the following video somehow shows that. But thats just what i felt when i started to watch it. As i watched the graceful movments it felt that the broken wings were not really a problem. The video shows that determination can achive the most impossible seeming feats. HATS OFF TO THESE ARTISTS...

Cup or the choclate drink--what matters

As is the theme of the blog iam again sharing a rood read with my readers. here it goes.

A group of graduates, well established in their careers, were talking at a reunion and decided to go visit their old university professor, now retired.
During their visit, the conversation turned to complaints about stress in their work and lives.
Offering his guests hot chocolate, the professor went into the kitchen and returned with a large pot of hot chocolate and an assortment of cups - porcelain, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the hot chocolate.
When they all had a cup of hot chocolate in hand, the professor said: "Notice that all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.
The cup that you're drinking from adds nothing to the quality of the hot chocolate. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink.
What all of you really wanted was hot chocolate, not the cup; but you consciously went for the best cups... And then you began eyeing each other's cups.
Now consider this: Life is the hot chocolate; your job, money and position in society are the cups.
They are just tools to hold and contain life.
The cup you have does not define, nor change the quality of life you have.
Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the hot chocolate God has provided us. God makes the hot chocolate, man chooses the cups. The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything that they have.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. And enjoy your hot chocolate.

So ..iam off to try and discover what are the cups which distract my attention from the hot choclate.

They view people objectively. They let you know in no uncertain terms that they are the boss. They should learn to base their decisions on their own needs rather than on what others want.
